Posted by mrwiseguy187

WINGS- CAC, TESDA 4A's quality circle for competency assessment and certification headed by TESDA-Laguna PD Al Arriola required all 4A TESDA Reps to attend the calibration last January 30, 2017.  Going through several workshops, the TESDA Reps were reviewed on their roles and responsibilities before, during and after the assessment.  Pre and post tests were administered to determine their level of knowledge on their important participation in the competency assessment activity.

WINGS-TTIs, TESDA 4A's quality improvement circle for tesda training institutions led the curriculum review of 7 generic qualifications offered in 4A on March 2-3, 2017.  Newly elected WINGS-TTI Shepherd, Zoraida Amper of Bondoc Peninsula Technical Institute (BPTI)  in San Narciso, Quezon reported that the 7 curricula reviewed by the trainers are: Automotive Servicing NC I and II, RAC Servicing NC I and  II, SMAW NC I and II, Dressmaking NCII, EIM NCII,  EPAS NCII, and Mechatronics NCII.

As a requirement for renewal of assessor's accreditation, TESDA 4A assessors attended a series of competency assessment moderation sessions  from February 1-7, 2017 at Tandang Sora Hall, TESDA Women's Center, Taguig City.  Unlike last year's moderation where the assessors were given refresher course on competency assessment procedures, code of ethics and assessor's work values, this year's session focused on issues regarding the varying interpretation of assessment tools.
