TESDA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña, together with Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Gladys F. Rosales and Region IV-A Director Nenuca E. Tangonan, visited the Ptrovincial Training Center (PTC) in Taytay, Rizal last April 26.

Secretary Lapeña after touring and observing best practices in PTC-Taytay, wants TESDA technical-vocational institutions (TVIs) to treat them as a role model and follow good strategies in delivering better services to the Filipino people.

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority(TESDA) Director General/Secretary Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong praised Team Philippines after the group won Silver and Bronze medals at the 12th Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) Skills Competition “WorldSkills Bangkok 2018” held in Bangkok, Thailand from Aug 31 to Sept 2.

Mamondiong says that the winning performance of Team Philippines in skills competition only proves that the country’s technical-vocational education and training (TVET) is effective and world-class.

5,015 Marawi evacuees natulungan ng TESDA

Umaabot na sa 5,015  internally-displaced persons (IDPs) o  bakwit mula sa naganap na kaguluhan sa Marawi City  ang napagkalooban ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ng  skills at livelihood training program.

Sa nasabing bilang, 2,360 ang  technical vocational education and training (TVET)   graduates  sa iba’t ibang  kurso sa kontruksiyon  na makakatulong sa  isasagawang  rehabilitasyon sa Marawi City.
