The TESDA Rizal Provincial Office, in partnership with the Association of Technical Vocational Institutes in Rizal, Inc. (ATVIR, Inc.), successfully convened the First TVET General Assembly at the Ynares Events Center, bringing together key players in the province’s technical vocational education and training (TVET) sector.

TESDA Quezon, led by Provincial Director Benito G. Reyes, and the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Offices of Lucena City and Tayabas City reaffirmed their commitment to the free Senior High School (SHS) Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track Assessment for Certification program during a meeting on February 5, 2025, at the TESDA Quezon Provincial Office.

TESDA Cavite, in partnership with industry leaders, is spearheading the establishment of the EEI Corporation Training Academy and Assessment Center at Brgy. Tanauan, Tanza, Cavite. Focused on the construction sector, the academy will offer diploma programs and training in key trades such as welding (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW), masonry, carpentry, pipefitting, instrumentation and control, electrical installation and maintenance (EIM), and heavy equipment operations.

Two important industry organizations in Laguna signed and renewed their partnership with TESDA-LLDA Provincial Training Center in fulfilling the center’s vision of becoming the specialized institution in agricultural innnovation in Laguna. On February 4, 2025, the Laguna Cacao Farmers Association (LCFA) signed a memorandum of understanding with TESDA-LLDA PTC to collaborate in conducting research and development activities for their organization.

05 February 2025 | The ILO Country Office for Bangladesh visited the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) as part of the ISEC Project: "Leaving No One Behind – Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladesh Community and Rohingya Women and Youth in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh." The project aims to economically empower Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) youth, women, and other vulnerable groups in the Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh.
