Three TESDA Calabarzon officers won the 2014 TESDA Model Employees Award.  Leading the winners is Provincial  Director Carlos C. Flores of TESDA Batangas for Level IV Category; Rizal Bautista, Training Administrator of PTC Rosario Cavite for Level III and Warlito Tugade of the TESDA 4A  Regional Office for Level I.  Rheo Henry Rodriguez of TESDA Laguna joined the national finalists for Level II category.  The winners got  cash prizes and travel for 2 at any region of their choice.  

Last year's national finalist for Level 1 is Joel Oclarit.

"We are excited to join the pool of ISO certified TESDA Offices.  We have prepared for this months back and now we are ready," says TESDA PD Letty Ogbac.  For her part, TESDA  Rizal PD Velma Salazar ensures that all systems and requirements are already in place and nothing can stop them from being the third TESDA provincial office in Calabarzon  to be awarded an ISO certification.  In June 2013, TESDA Regional Office Calabarzon and TESDA Batangas Provincial Office were awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate by TUVSUD.  

Speaking before hundreds of employees, officials and scholars of Integrated Microelectronics Inc (IMI),  Alliance Mansols Inc (AMI) and Testech Inc ,  Pres. Aquino commended the partnership  betwen TESDA and  the Semiconductors and Electronics Industries in the Phils (SEIPI)  in their efforts to train scholars under the Training for Work Scholarship Program.  This program recorded a 98% employment rate among its graduates who are deployed in the various member companies of SEIPI.
