JZGMSAT Holds Industry Forum

Newly-promoted Administrator of JZGMSAT, Mr. Benny Reyes calls its Dual Training System (DTS) partner-companies to an industry forum on October 12 at  Technopark Hotel, Sta. Rosa City. .   The dialogue will highlight the review of the curricula of its various DTS programs specifically in the areas of  Food and Beverage, Automotive and Consumer Electronics Servicing.  According to Mr. Reyes, the training plans should be reviewed regularly to ensure that the students' competencies are at par with the current industry requirements.

BPTI Holds Disaster Preparedness Seminar

"Disaster preparedness must be part of our lives,"  says Ms. Zory Ampter, Administrator of Bondoc Peninsula Technological Institute in Quezon.  Working on this principle, she has started preparing her students to be disaster-ready by holding trainings and orientations.   On October 9,  the first seminar will be conducted with speakers from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and the Bureau of Fire Protection.

TESDA Rizal Joins Rizal Travel Mart

In celebration of the Tourism Month this September, TESDA Rizal led by Prov. Dir. Velma Salazar will participate in the Rizal Travel Mart with a cooking competition on September 26 at  SM Masinag, Antipolo City.  The annual activity is in partnership with City Government of Antipolo under the leadership of Mayor Junjun Ynares.

TESDA Quezon Transfers to New Site

TESDA Quezon Provincial Director Rhose Amazona announced the transfer of their office from WEC Bldg, Hermana Fausta St. Lucena City to the 2nd Floor, Lucena Grand Terminal1, Diversion Road, Barangay Ilayang Dupay, Lucena City effective September 15.   The transfer hopes to provide more efficient and timely delivery of TESD services to its clients.  The new provincial office is very accessible to clients coming from other areas.  The Grand Terminal also houses other government agencies in the province.

All clients will be served at the their new office.

TESDA Mobile Training Bus Plus Goes to Sta. Rosa City

Barangay Kanluran, Sta. Rosa City is the new venue of the Mobile Training Bus Plus.  According to TESDA Laguna Provincial Director Al Arriola, the program will start on September 26 with the following courses: Cellphone Repair, Computer Hardware Servicing, Mechatronics, Sheet Metal Arc Welding, Beauty Care, and Massage Therapy.  The mobile training progam, a pet project of Secretary Joel Villanueva will train a total of 157 youths and unemployed adults.
