TESDA Cavite, in partnership with industry leaders, is spearheading the establishment of the EEI Corporation Training Academy and Assessment Center at Brgy. Tanauan, Tanza, Cavite. Focused on the construction sector, the academy will offer diploma programs and training in key trades such as welding (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW), masonry, carpentry, pipefitting, instrumentation and control, electrical installation and maintenance (EIM), and heavy equipment operations.

To kickstart the initiative, TESDA conducted on-site Training Methodology 1 (TM1) training, led by Ms. Lorena P. Lim, Administrator of PTC Paliparan. The orientation took place on February 4, followed by the official training launch on February 5. The event was attended by EEI Corporation officials, including Engr. Victor C. Evidente, Assistant Vice President for Technical & Discipline Services Department; Engr. Elmer P. Doroteo, Senior Manager; and Engr. Rolly DG Ara, Construction Manager.
