Binangonan Seniors Learn the Basics of Herbal Soap Making in Community Training Initiative
The Rizal Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Center (RPTESDC) Binangonan, in collaboration with the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), conducted a community-based training program on Herbal Soap Making for senior citizens in Binangonan, Rizal. The program was designed to foster creativity, encourage social interaction, and introduce participants to a valuable skill.
Held in an engaging and interactive environment, the workshop provided hands-on training that empowered participants to create their own herbal soap using natural ingredients. The session emphasized the benefits of natural soap-making, which not only produces eco-friendly and gentle products but also boosts participants' sense of accomplishment and creativity.
The initiative aimed to enhance participants’ fine motor skills, promote teamwork, and strengthen social connections within the senior community. Through this training, RPTESDC and OSCA hope to inspire more seniors to engage in meaningful activities that support lifelong learning and community involvement.
