RTC CALABARZON Partners with AIKAWA Philippines for Skills Enhancing Livelihood Training

The TESDA Regional Training Center-CALABARZON, in partnership with AIKAWA Philippines Inc., successfully conducted a comprehensive livelihood training program aimed at enhancing employees' skills and providing additional opportunities for economic growth and self-sufficiency. Held at AIKAWA’s facilities in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, the training was attended by the company’s employees and staff, who participated in specialized sessions covering Breadmaking, Food Processing, and Dishwashing Liquid Making.

The Breadmaking and Food Processing workshops, led by TESDA-certified trainer Mr. Benjamin Dela Rosa Jr., provided participants with hands-on skills in producing quality baked goods and processed food products. Participants learned to bake popular Filipino breads such as pandesal, empanada, and chocolate crinkles, as well as techniques in meat preservation and ready-to-eat food production. In food processing, participants engaged in practical exercises to make tocino, siomai, and skinless longganisa, mastering skills from dough preparation and fermentation to packaging techniques.

The training also featured a session on Dishwashing Liquid Making, facilitated by trainers Ms. Jennefer Lacerna and Ms. Christine Siyangbigay. This segment introduced participants to the process of creating homemade dishwashing liquid using budget-friendly materials, equipping them with practical knowledge to reduce household expenses and promote self-reliance.
