TESDA Quezon and QTVEA Launch Competency-Based Curriculum Development for Inbred Rice Production

Candelaria, Quezon – In a strategic effort to align vocational training with the evolving demands of the agricultural sector, the TESDA Quezon Provincial Office, in partnership with the Quezon Technical Vocational Educators Association (QTVEA), hosted a three-day workshop dedicated to the development of a Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Inbred Rice Production NC II. The event took place from October 21 - 23, 2024, at Uma Verde Econature Farm in Bukal Sur, Candelaria.

This initiative is part of TESDA Quezon ongoing efforts to create training programs that meet the demands of the agricultural sector, particularly in rice production. The workshop brought together educators, trainers, industry experts, and stakeholders in the agricultural field to collaboratively design a curriculum that equips learners with the necessary skills and knowledge for inbred rice production.
