TESDA to Train Bureau of Fire Personnel

TESDA through Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) will train 2000 Fire Personnel starting this March.

In a Memorandum of Agreement signed last March 1, 2013 by TESDA 4A and Bureau of Fire Protection 4A officials led by RD Luisita S. dela Cruz and Chief Supt. Nimfa Cuartel,  the training will include Electrical Load Computation, Basic Troubleshooting and Vehicle Maintenance.  The training programs aim to enhance the skills and competencies of BFP personnel in providing efficient and effective maintenance services of its fire trucks and other vehicles.  Recognizing the need to provide fast response to fire calls anytime of the day, the BFP officials decided to have their personnel trained in vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure that all their fire trucks are in good running condition at all times.

The training programs will be conducted at the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Fire National Traning Institute at Camp Vicente Lim, Canlubang, Laguna.
