TESDA 4A yesterday conducted a regional preconsultation workshop with officials of local government units of the 5 provinces of the region specifically the Municipal Planning and Development Officers, Municipal PESO presidents and Municipal ABC presidents.  The LGUs are major partners of TESDA in developing globally competitive skilled workers.  The workshop identified the TVET needs and requirements of LGUs in line with developing their human resources and how government specifically TESDA can respond to such requirements.  

Workshop outputs of the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon provinces shall be validated on September 5, 2016 by Local Chief Executives, Provincial Planning and Development Officers, Provincial PESO presidents and Provincial ABC presidents. On  the same day, September 5,  a Regional MultiSectoral Consultation including industry, NGOs/POs/IPs, and TVET sectors will be held to determine /validate specific sectoral needs and submit inputs for policty recommendations to ensure that their concerns will be addressed by the Regional Technical Education and Skills Development Plan for 2017-2022.
